I believe “localhost” means exactly what is written in your hosts file it should mean. Of course, there’s usually 127.0.0.1 there

As I said at the first time, use 127.0.0.1 (better and independent of ‘localhost’).

my settings are correct… I think! :-
I don’t always see the “icon” that the mail is being scanned…
but 127.0.0.1 is in my settings for mail… :-[
I gotta quit posting when I am sick!
