Yes it does crash. I had to join the VRDB icon into the other icon.
There is a feature that allows you to only have 1 icon instead
of two. Word, Excel and Outlook were crashing within 5 seconds.
Outlook would only crash when I closed it. My system seems to
be working now.
I’m quite sure that joining those two avast! icons cannot change anything about other applications’ crashing (maybe unless you are using Win9x and you are in a low-resource condition - but even in that case it would be a big coincidence).
More details about the crash would be useful, but I rather doubt it has anything to do with avast!.
