avast! 4.6.603 saying wrong expiration date

Hello,

After updating to version 4.6.603 the Home Edition version I use is saying that my license key expiration date is 12/31/69 and isn’t updating the virus database anymore. I tried registering again but to no avail. Is this already noted?

Make sure your system time/date is correct.
If it is not, it could be time to replace the cmos battery.

Thanks for your answer. The system time/date is correct and the battery is OK. I did nothing but reboot the system and now avast! is able to update. Only avast! was getting the wrong date. ALL other programs were using the right date from computer.

PS: I used to make use of board search systems, and I just addressed that subject to this forum because I was not finding a logical reason to the strange avast! behavior, as the hardware is OK, and the problem just showed itself after 4.6 update.
