avast 4.6 running by itself...

every single day at 2:00 pm, avast gets running by itself during about 45 min! I never programed it to do so. I can see it is, because the little blue A ball turns. I would like to disable this function, but from where?

avast! is active all the time, must be some other program that triggers heavy avast! activity at 2:00. Check if you have some other applications scheduled at that time.

Are you using the Trial version? Did you schedule an avast! scanning at that time?
Anyway, seems that Rejzor is right, some other program is triggering avast! actions…
