Avast 4,7 can not work now

Hi,

I just made an hour ago the required update on avast 4,7 and reboot the computer, and lost the 2 blue icons and could not start the avast in the program list, and got a message…"Window can not access…, and you do
not have the appropriate authorization… "

And before rebooting before, i did merge the 2 small blue avast icons…!!!

I am using Window xp…

Can you split the two icons and then try to repair your installation?
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove. Then choose Repair function in the popup window (Repair). You must be connected to the internet while repairing.

If this does not help, can you uninstall / boot / install / boot again?
