Avast! 4.8.1227 update!

I got the 1227 update notice, but was kinda busy installing a scanner, so i didn’t grab it. after the installation was
finished, I right clicked on the blue “a” ball, went to program settings>update basic>program>manual and clicked update now.
It is a large file, but after installing itself and restarting the computer, it seems to be working fine. If you don’t hear
anything from me in the near future, assume that my upgrade went well.

But … but you HAVE to return in the near future … 9 more times so that you can graduate into Jr. Member and join the Elite Secret Club of Profile Changing Gurus. 8)

Update went fine on Vista H/P 32 bit.

Upgraded a few different OSs to 4.8.1227.

Celeron M 2.0 GHZ, 2GB RAM, Vista Home Basic - avast! Home, All Providers, No problems reported.

AthlonXP 2600+, 1GB RAM, 98SE - avast! Pro, All Providers, No problems.

AthlonXP 3000+, 768MB RAM, 95OSR2 - avast! Home, Standard Shield & Internet Mail only, No problems (didn’t really expect any). 8)
