I have Avast 4.8 Home Edition on my computer. Now i also have Ad-Aware to,but the Ad-Aware seems to take a long time to load. I think the Ad-Aware came on this computer or one of the family members put it on here. Is it a good spyware or should i use another one. I seen where (it was on here) there was another one that goes good with Avast 4.8 Home Edition, but i cant find it. I think it was like Super??? something is it a good spyware. Thank You.
AdAware is unfortunately not good, it used to be good but doesn’t keep pace with developments and all it seems to find are cookies a waste of time.
What AdAware version do you have as it doesn’t come with resident protection by default ?
These are I feel better, but the free versions don’t have resident protection, but avast does have an anti-spyware element incorporated in it.
If you haven’t already got this software (freeware), download, install, update and run periodically.

Don’t worry about reported tracking cookies they are a minor issue and not one of security, allow SAS to deal with them though. - See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie.
