Avast 4.8 to 5.0 License Converter not working.

I was successfully able to use Avast 5.0 the other day, but upon uninstalling, it did not take in the license key during installation and asked in the main window later for the license key to file conversion. I did but once I received the email for the file, there was no attatchment, rather just text. With all these # signs. There was no attatchment for the email, I made sure. How do I go about getting the license key file? The converter does not work. :cry:

Oh by the way, I mean for Avast Pro PAID version. Just so people don’t think I’m whining over a free product. ???

To make sure that you success re-generate License file for avast 5.0 from 4.8 version.

What email client are you using, ThePonderer?
Some email clients (such as previous versions of Thunderbird) incorrectly render text attachments inline, i.e. as part of the message body.
