Avast 4.8 vs Shareaza v4

Oh man what a royal pain in the ***.

I have had Avast installed for a little while now, but now that I want to install Shareaza, it keeps saying it’s a trojan virus (the file is directly from Shareaza’s home page). So now it has stuck it in the virus chest and it’s blocking access to it completely.

I thought that back in version 4.5 they added support for P2P programs including Shareaza.

How do I fix this?

Shareaza V4 is not the real Shareaza

This is the only real Shareaza. Their original domain www.shareaza.com got stolen some time ago and they’re still fighting to get it back.
