#1 Do I need to keep running Spyblaster any more ?
#2 In the Avast setting’s window, (trouble shooting) window, all is grayed out except for the first item. (check for full screen aps.).
#3 After running a scan, and I mouse over icon’s, in bottom tray, left side screen, as i mouse over them they disappear. ??? ??? Have to do a Shut down or Restart to get them back.
#4 If every thing is in “Real time”, Why do we even have to do a scan ???

I’m afraid the other options (and the corresponding features) are not available on Windows 9x - most of them are Windows 2000+ only.

1. Yes, if as I assume you are using spywareblaster as it is a pasive immunisation tool.

2. winME like win98 isn’t very good at managing resources and I would suggest that before running a scan you close any non-essential applications.

3. New signatures are constantly added and you may have had something on your system previously undetected, so a weekly on-demand scan would hopefully catch those.
