Hello.
I tried to run Avast!4 on Toshiba Satelite A10-S203 but I could not.
I installed it succesfully, Avast!4 had scanned my computer before Windows XP HE loaded but then when I was trying to run Avast!4 I saw a small window and I could only write an email with description of error to Avast!4 authors.
Had anybody similar problem?

If you send that email you will get soon an Email from Avast. They will ask for some more infos or give you a solution for your problem

It looks like classic problem with ODBC, I think. Try to change value of “Database” key in data\avast4.ini file placed in avast! installation directory. Change its value from “ODBC” to “XML” and restart avast! or whole operating system.
