Avast 4 won' t update

Every time I try to update Avast 4 I get message like this :
Error 0x000000C1 Cannot start incremental update ! Automatic update does not work either !

Oops, this means that the binary image of the updater is (most likely) corrupted. I have no idea how come it’s corrupted, but I’d suggest re-downloading the setup (current version) - from www.avast.com, and running it on the target machine. It should be able repair all the files.

If it does not, please try to reinstall it.
