i usually browsed the site www.masalaboard.com. When i open the page hxxp://www.masalaboard.com/forumdisplay.php/24-MB-Main-Videos with firefox it shows a message like ‘Reported Attack Page’ and i could not enter the site. check the below image,

But i had no problem with opera to open the address hxxp://www.masalaboard.com/forumdisplay.php/24-MB-Main-Videos and it does not shown any warning message…

what is it…?

Firefox like Chrome refer to a Google phishing and malware protection database, while Opera doesn’t

see here too:

What happened when Google visited this site? Of the 219 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 70 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2010-04-15, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2010-04-14.

ok…

but when i visit that page(hxxp://www.masalaboard.com/forumdisplay.php/24-MB-Main-Videos)with my opera browser avast didn’t block any malicious softwares and also doesn’t show any warning messages… >:(

can you disable the link to that site, replace http with hxxp >>> to avoid clicks from here on the forums.

avast won’t produce any alert as long as you don’t click on bad links on that site ::)…this said it could and should be intercepted by the network shield (not the web shield)

AGAIN, CAN YOU DEACTIVATE THAT LINK ABOVE >>> REPLACE HTTP WITH HXXP !!!

Done… 8)
