Please try temporarily disabling the self-defense module as this has caused the manual update to fail with this error in previous builds
Open avast! → settings → ‘Troubleshooting’ tab → Uncheck ‘Enable avast! self-defense module’
Once the update has been done, remember to re-enable the self defense module
