Avast! 5.0 Virus Vault - Problem manually adding files

When I try to MANUALLY add files to the Virus Vault, the files remain in the original folder. My understanding was that Avast is supposed to move the file from the folder and place it in a “special” location.

When Avast finds malware and I choose to move it to the Virus Vault, it works. The file is moved.

I’m running Avast 5, free. Version 5.0.394. It didn’t move the files with the official release version either.

No, it behaves as expected. Manually adding files to the Chest isn’t removing them from their original location (i.e. “quarantining” them). Just backing them up, essentially.
