You should remember that the Firewall won’t be free - you have to purchase the Suite to be able to use the Firewall…
But you of course have the possibility to try it before buying

I can say if Avast! add for now a parental control and id protection + anti spam for the version 5 i think they can be good but i can agree its need a lot work i understand them 
But if its didnt got any of these i sayed its can be downloaded manually via internet

But as far as I am concerned the Free version will be the Antivirus… Of course with lots of new and cool features but without Firewall or Antispam or whatever else they are planing…

These are already in the avast antivirus and I don’t believe that will change, they are part of the anti-virus and there will be the free and pro version of the AV in 5.0 as there is in 4.8.
-= Will the “pause-during-detections” still be in free version…? Hope not…
I hope not. AVG and AVIRA got rid of it even in free version. Sure avast! had an edge on other areas but still.
