If I try to install Roxio creator 2010 with avast 5.1.864 on the system it will not install. This is a download copy of Roxio 2010 from there website. The file extracts very slow than fails when complete. Did not have this problem in 5.0 or with no avast on system at all. I think it has something to do with the behavior shield scanning the files being extracted before install.

It won’t install in 884 either the only work around is to uninstall avast than install Roxio than install avast
You could try uninstalling the BhS from add remove programs/avast then see if roxio installs, if that works then you’ll only have to wait for avast to fix the incompatability then reinstall the BhS.
Yup gonna have to wait for avast to fix the problem just thought I should post so they are aware of it

Cool, hopefully they’ll get it fixed soon, in the mean time you wont have to worrie about not having the BhS as it’s only collecting info at the moment and not fully functional.
