Hi all, have just installed the full internat security after upgrading from the free version.
After install and reboot, the program states the firewall is not working and will not turn on. Am running XP with windows firewall turned off.
Any suggestions please ??

Asyn, excuse my stupity, the file you have pointed to is 5.0.874. I assume you are sending me to the new pre-release build which is 5.1.874.
Are they one and the same thing please ??

More puzzled now. Have installed and re-booted. No error message this time saying firewall is off, good news one would think… Only problem is, the tab for the firewall is NOT there !!! I cannot see if the firewall is activated or even exists !!

No and windows firewall off…although the free version of malwarebytes is installed, but wouldn’t have thought that would cause a conflict ??
Malwarebytes free version is an on-demand scanner so no conflict will appear.
No, Mbam is no problem.
Ok, we try a clean install now.
