Does anyone know if Outlook 2010 (32 bit) and Avast! 5.590 work together? This also includes the displaying and use of the avast toolbar/plugin inside outlook 2010. I have been holding off on the upgrade because it wasn’t working when Outlook 2010 first was release to MSDN/Technet users several months ago. I don’t want to upgrade and find out I’ve lost a very useful (to me) feature of Avast!

He had stated a few months ago that Outlook 2010 and AIS would work, but the toolbar would be non-functional. I was looking for something a bit more official (either on the website or by k.u.r.t himself).
Yes it should work (=was tested).
Is that official enough?

That is correct. Perhaps we should have mentioned that in the release notes of 594. 32bit Outlook is supported for versions 2000-2010 (incl.) Support for 64bit version of Outlook will come with avast 5.1 (due out later this year)
That would of been outstanding to see it in release notes and I wouldn’t of even asked. I didn’t want to read between the lines and get myself into something I wasn’t ready for. Thank you!! I will now upgrade my office (and outlook) to 2010!!
