avast 5 can't connect to email

Hi everybody

I always used avast anti-virus and never had problems. But i upgraded to version 5 and now i can’t get incoming email from one of my accounts. It doesn’t use SSL.

The account name is “sapo.pt” and it’s a POP3 account. 110 port for incoming email and 25 for SMTP (the outgoing email still works fine)

Anyone can help me?

Which is your firewall?
Any other security program that could interfere? Any antispam tool?
If you disable the mail shield of avast, will them email work?
Which is your email program?
