Hello all,
I have a problem when updating avast 4.8 home to 5.0 … I didn’t uninstall 4.8 first because usually it will automatically upgrade if I’m not mistaken (I forgot, because it has been a long time when I upgrade from 4.7 to 4.8) and also because I want to keep my registration key … I already installed 5.0 on other computer which doesn’t have avast, and it success to install …
SS on below is an error if I install 5.0 on 4.8 … The avast 5.0 is not started (after reboot after installation) even I have clicked a FIX NOW button or “Start Program” button …

If I checked on previous folder avast 4.8, there are some files which did not deleted even after reboot, the files are :
- asw5Ldr.dll
- asw5Noti.exe
- folder DATA, contains :
- file avast4.ini
- folder log, contains : file aswAr.log
on file avast4.ini, only contains these :
[Common]
asw5NotiExeVer=1
asw5LdrDllVer=1
and on file aswAr.log :
avast! Antirootkit, version 1.0

And I can’t delete all files from 4.8 which not delete automatically after install 5.0 … I tried to check using Unlocker, but it said the program is not used by any program …
and I also can’t run avast 4.8 home now >:( … please help
