AVAST 5 - Fault in definition 100302-1

There seems to be a fault in the definions version 100302-1. Complains that the package is broken.
And I almost pooped into my pants as I’ve set definitions to be updated updated at PC restart, so it came up with three error messages.

mine updated just fine on both of my laptops.

Nothing to worry about. Avast will try and auto update again when connected to the net. Try manual update to re try!

The virus database updates, I assume?

“Can’t install VPS update. Please, report following errorcodes:

SI: 0x00000002
ST: 0xFFFFFFFE
LE: 0x00000000”

EDIT: Seems to be working now, even though I did nothing. o.o

Again Avast trys to update automatically default every 240mins or instantly when you connect online later in the day. Green sliding updates with voice should appear within a few minutes. 8)

From What You’ve Said…
Have you changed the default settings for the way Avast 5 updates? :-\

Coz…
Avast 5 normally updates it’s definitions on computer - Start Up
And sometimes again later on in the day 8)

But you say you have set Avast 5 to update on - Restart ???
