I had 4.x on a USB U3 microCruzer.
Not entirely sure how the whole ‘portable app’ thing works…I think I WILL check it out. I think that there could be a GREAT benefit to having Avast! installed on a removable drive, yet able to be turned on manually. Maybe this could help in detecting kits that are normally designed to attack Avast at its source directory or something???
