Avast 5 hang

I have this system:

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 5,00 GB
Total Physical Memory 5,00 GB
Available Physical Memory 3,65 GB
Total Virtual Memory 10,0 GB
Available Virtual Memory 8,51 GB
Page File Space 5,00 GB

I upgraded to avast 5 edition but my system hang on startup or resume from stand by, if I downgrade to avast 4.8 system works fine.

Are you using build 394 available here in the forum which tries to fix the hang problems previously noted?

Version from website: Version 5.0.377 if is a better one available why is not posted on website? ???

Because ALWIL wanna know if the 394 pre-release that they fixed some bug if the user got some problem and its didnt happaned again. :wink:

So maybe they fixed your problem in 394 so that why sded said you should upgrade to 394 to see if your problem is still there.
