avast 5 I.S v 5.0.945 cant not share my internet connection to other client pc

hi everybody,

i am using windows xp 32bit SP3, avast 5 internet security v5.0.594. i have five pc that are connected through switch. my host pc have ip address 192.168.0.1 and other pcs ip are 192.168.0.2 to 5. avast firewall do not allow my client pcs to connect internet through my host pc. firewall block the incoming connection from my client pc. but when i use avast 4.8 pro then there is no problem for ICS. now avast 5 IS has made me made. now what can i do.

now i need help. please help…it is very urgent… ??? :‘( :’( :‘( :’ :cry:

There are a few things I suggest:

  1. Edit/modify your post to delete your IP addresses so that no one can send you anything malicious.
  2. Update your AIS from an outdated version to 5.0.677 – http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/setup_ais.exe
  3. Check to see if your firewall (FW) is blocking anything from Avast. If so, please read the article below.
  4. What other security software do you have on these machines currently or in the past including antivirus (AV), firewall (FW), or other security software?

Are you using ‘Internet Connection Sharing mode’ in AIS Firewall?

i all ready tried that. it did not work.

In that case, if you already have the latest version (5.0.677) support@avast.com would be my next stop.
