This is what I presently use:
- Avast Home
- PC Tools Spyware Dr. Paid
- ThreatFire
- PC Tools Firewall+
They all work well together but will I be able to get rid of everything if I buy the Avast 5.0 Suite and still have the same protection with less resource use?

The suite will have a firewall so you don’t need another firewall, in fact you shouldn’t have two firewalls running at the same time.
You shouldn’t need Threatfire as the suite (in the AV element) has a behavioural functionality.
Is avast 5 going to have a new UI and new sounds ???

is it different? what color is it?
Hmm… I don’t know if this information already is public…
but the two colours used in the new user interface are grey and orange… I think they will try to match the desktop- and taskbar-icon to these two colours…
