What build Number was the First Release Version?

How many new update has it been since first release.

Where can i download the latest 396 build without download 377 build first and update.

Is Avast 5 available in Chinese Traditional / Japaneses and Korean yet?

It looks like Major Geeks now has 5.0.396. It should also be available at FileHippo soon, though it’s not yet.

5.0.377 was the first public release of version 5. 5.0.396 is the first official build. I think there were two or three test builds before that.

I like to download from the avast site. Can you tell me what version is available from the avast site and if version 396 is not available when will it be. I would like to wait till 396 is available instead of doing the upgrade.

Forgot to say I am looking for the Pro version of 396 to download from the avast site.

Looks like you’ll just have to wait until it’s available then. Keep checking the Avast! web site. Unless an Avast! team member comes on today and can foind out and let us know, of course…

Thanks for the reply. It would be nice if the avast site would show what version you were about to download. As other people have complained here about showing the version number and virus data base number on the home page like they did before the site was redone. I guess they are still busy with the bugs and will get to it in time. So for now I will wait till I know what version is on the avast site.
