avast 5 no sound in windows 7

Hello all, I installed avast 5 free on my computers with XP the sounds work fine but with 7 no sound, after some checking in this forum and googgling I found no sounds file so I created one copied the 3 sound files .wav in XP and put them in the new sounds file I created in the 7 but so far I did not add the 1033 file yet, but in windows sound events the XP has avast sounds there but not in the 7 and I do not know how to add them, can anyone help me to get the young ladys voice to work.

I had the same problem with Win 7 Home Premimum and here is what I just did.

I found the .wav files at: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\English
Used system sounds to map them to Avast

Start → Control Panel → Hardware and sounds → Change system sounds
(Avast → Settings → Sounds opens the same form)

Then I selected the Sounds tab, scrolled down the avast! antivrus sounds

None of mine were set so I assigned them as follows

Auto VSP update: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\English\vpsupd.wav
Detect suspicious: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\English\suspic.wav
Mouse over simple: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\English\hover.wav
Other malware: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\English\malfound.wav
