After I installed Avast 5 Pro, it started giving false positives claiming Verizon ISP software was a Trojan when I know it is not. It particularly complains about the installer part of the software. Since I do not want to delete the software, the best I can do is have it block the software.
When I try to report it as a false positive, I click on the notice but nothing seems to happen. I get no indication that the report has in fact been sent to Avast that the report of a false positive has been sent.
The definitions have been updated to the latest available as is the program itself.
I had none of these problems with version 4.
