avast! 5 protection failed to start on windows 7 build 7600 (32bit)

i installed avast 5.0.377 on windows 7 , everything worked just fine , but after few days i avast says that the system is no longer protected !!! :-\

We have the same Windows 7 Build.

I dont know what cause it to you.

I have no problem using Windows 7 since Avast 5.0.377.

Im using Avast 5.0.418 now.

Try the latest Avast Version and let see if it helps to you.

What version of Avast 5 are you using… Free - Pro - Suite ?

When you first installed Avast 5… Did you Register your Avast 5 ?

Maybe as your Avast seems to be broken anyway :frowning: …

  1. Uninstall Avast 5
  2. Use the Avast Uninstall Utility from Safe Mode
  3. Install the latest version of Avast 5 - 5.0.418
