Hello, and congrats for the new Avast, the GUI is much better than the old one…i miss Stop On Access Protection option though,when right clicking on the icon in try :(.
My problem is the following, I only use Avast when I plug in a new USB stick or other things, so you can imagine that I Disable the Shields Until Next Restart or Permanently through tray icon. The problem is, that after a few Disables and Enables of the shields, the Avast service completly stops working, and I cant open the shields anymore, nor the update, nothing. The the solution is to manualy start the Avast service from Services.msc,which should not be happening.
Avast was installed in a clean environment…my sistem is composed of Windows 7 32Bit, 3GB Ram and Intel E5200 processor.
I hope you can look into it, because im pretty sure it’s a bug
