My brother has Avast 5 Free installed on Windows XP and all the shields are constantly going off time to time. Then we have to click on FIX IT and that does it, but just for a few minutes. What should we do?
Remove it using the avast! uninstall utility (make sure its for v5).
Restart.
Reinstall.
