Since i cant find a avast 5 bug section il post it here.
If show system tray icon is off and you kill explorer.exe the icon will repear when you run explorer.exe

Another bug: when you kill avastui.exe, avast’s tray icon is still present in system tray…
Unfortunately, tray icons are controlled by windows shell (= explorer.exe) and we can’t remove/hide them directly from avast process. It’s up to shell and sometimes it doesn’t work correctly (especially if explorer.exe was terminated unexpectedly).
