avast 5 updating error and error codes

Hello,Avast is telling me it is up to date when i try from within the program (engine and definitions 100205-0 - program 5.0.396) but security centre states it is out of date. When i try to install vsupd manually from avast.com i get the following;

Can’t Install VPS Update. Please report following error codes:

Ver:5.0.396
SI: 0x00000002
ST: 0xFFFFFFFE
LE: 0x00000000

So here i am reporting them. Any help would be appreciated.

Try to update to latest program version first. You are using old version.
