Yes, the program seems to have some problems. Had to restore everything it deleted to get the system back to working order. Seems to be a problem with many of the smaller applications they have. I’m intrigued by the Comodo Internet Security product with it’s multiple layers of protection but if a much smaller product is not right and causes so many problems then what of their flagship product?

Stay clear of Comodo if you do not know what it does as Blue Screens of Death is its most recent feature.
Went ahead and added the Online Armor Firewall to my layers of protection. Pretty nice layout, features. Simple to use and pretty much does everything for you. Hopefully it provides protection as good as the Comodo firewall? Thanks for the info on it.
I have run many tests on both Comodo and OnlineArmor and found that OA matches or beats Comodo on all the tests. OA also has a webshield (it doesn’t conflict with avast but compliments it), a hidden process monitor, plus it will kill keyloggers that Comodo lets through. More details can be found at their forum - http://support.online-armor.com
OA does not need to automatically update because there are no virus definitions like avast or Comodo. You can always get alerts from the forums when a newer version of OA is released a few times a year. Also, you can beta test it before releases are out.
I have had CIS (comodo internet security) Avast combo (comodo AV’s realtime protection/scanner was off of course) and comodo has never used alot of cpu (cmdagent.exe) during the time I used this combo. Maybe i was just lucky
Zonealarm may be good but comodo is a better option; comodo has HIPS-technology which provides you with better information and you get cloud scanner as an extra.
I recommend all to check the download program(s)/application(s) before are getting installed on the machine, at least I do.
I have used the comodo Firewall before and loved everything about it except all the pop-ups. It was nagging and wanted an answer for everything. I like that you can install Online Armor and if you know your system is clean set the program up when installing it to automatically add all the programs you have on your computer to the accept list. I love Online Armor so far.
