A complete scan with Avast 4 took 38 minutes.With the new avast 5 it takes 1hr and 29 min.What is going on here?
Most probably depends on whether archive scanning is enabled or not. The Full System Scan in v5 has unpacking of all archives enabled.
this setting seems a little bit extreme, since no malware can act from inside an archive. just my opinion…
