Avast 6.0.1289 Detects BitDefender TrafficLight Bsserv.exe Processes As Malware

Hello,

Avast Free 6.0.1289

Definitions: 111016-1

Custom Full On-Demand Scan Highest Settings

When I do On-Demand Scans with Avast 6 Free, it has been detecting memory processes for Bsserv.exe for BitDefender TrafficLight as malware JS:Agent-EV[Trj] and Whiplash-4592-B.

It detects the memory processes but no actions can be taken for the detections, which I think are false positives.

Hitman Pro, Emsisoft Anti-Malware, Norton Power Eraser, and Windows Defender show my computers as malware free.

Thank you,

since this is not a file but a process you cant take any action.....cant move a process to chest!

using the “scan memorys” setting will give some strange scan results…the forum is full if you do a search

unless you do not know what you are doing, i recomend using the default quick/full scan with default settings

Thanks, I just wanted to report it, if the Avast Team wanted to fix the False Positive, that is all.

I already reported through the Avast Program directly & had not heard anything yet, and so I decided to report it here.
