Avast 6 free found 6 infections

Yeah, so my Avast found 6 infections and when i try to delete or do something to them, i can´t.
The add button is grey and i can´t select anything. What should i do?

What happened? Are there viruses? O_o

Are you running a memory scan when you are scanning ?

I dont dam know what memory scan. Those all files are mbam.exe, and came after i downloaded Malwere Bytes Anti Malwere from official sites.

OK when you are scanning you have set it to scan memory - hence Avast is picking up detection signaatures from MBAM

But I forget where the memory scans are set - where is David when you need him ;D

What memory do you mean? I have scanned my HDD and some other things and those viruses were found.

This indicates the files were found in memory as opposed to actual physical files on the disc

I found that those were caused by Malwerebytes. If i remove it, those removes too?

Funnily enough I do not know how to set a memory scan as I do not use it. Did you alter the standard scans to include memory ?

you are probably using Custom scan… and in the settings there you have selected “scan memory” you are not the first one to do this, and now you know what happens. Signatures from other security programs loaded in memory is detected.

I recomend using the default quick/full scan with default settings

No they are MBAM signatures being detected

BTW. Are there some bad differences between Avast 4.8 professional and avast 6 free?

Avast 6 has a better engine plus some additional components - Is that what you are using 4.8 ?

Oh yes, there are.
You can update from 4.8 pro to 6.x pro for free, if you have a valid licence.
