Avast 6 Pro blocks outgoing mail

Hi,

Several of my clients (and I) have the same issue: Avast 6 Pro blocks outgoing e-mails without any warning. The e-mails will just reside in the outbox until you disable Avast.

We’re all running Win7 64-bit and use Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010.

One solution I found online was to disable SSL, but that didn’t help. There’s no warning message from Avast at all.

The outgoing email server use port 587.

I hope this can be resolved ASAP.

Alright,the better is you can add or set the some rules in mail shield ,I am dams sure you can send and receive the email without any issues.

I just don’t understand why this happened in the first place. It worked for years, and also with version 6 for a long while, but a few weeks ago it suddenly stopped.
