avast 64 bits

is there any option to have avast in 64 bits. I know that version 32 bits works… but be real… my system is 64 bits, and having all software as 64 bit would be much better, faster and utilize the system in a better way.

You’ll see in your Program files that avast installs 64 bit components, no reason to make two separate versions when one version can protect both equally as well.

What you say is not true.
64 bits doesn’t mean it is faster than 32 bits.
It can be faster, but speed depends on a lot (and I really mean a lot!) of things.

In fact, fully 64 bits software hardly exists.
Most are using 32 bits instructions as well.

I guess you have Windows 7 (or higher) in a 64 bits version.
Well, here is the surprise.
Windows (not even version 10) is fully 64 bits.

When software says it is 64 bits it only means that it can run on a 64 bits system, not that the software is fully 64 bits.
