Avast 7.0.1474 ignores the "ignore" option on boot scanning

Windows 7 SP1 32 Bit up to date, Windows Firewall

I configured a boot scanning with avast! and selected for “when a threat is found execute following action” the “none action” option.

avast! found a PUP and asked me for action even I set “none action”.

when a threat is found execute following action the recommendation is that you definitely move to quarantine.
if avast found a potentially unwanted program.
because the option to ignore the file remains on the system, will not run no action.
which is where the PUP?

what file name and the threat ?

  1. The first and major point: if there Is an Option, it should do what it states. Period.

  2. There are reasons for the options existance. Any scan takes soooometime to be done. “Sometimes” you don’t want to babysit your scanning, waiting to interact IF a malware or PUP is found. “You” want to interact when all work is done one and only one time. Or just to see the report wich is generated at the end of the scanning and to act accordingly. :o

  3. see item 1.
