I have recently updated to Avast 7.0 (36227b) on my MacBook Pro running OS X 10.7.3 (Lion).
This morning I have tried on three occasions to run a full system scan. While it starts fine and everything seems to work, it at seemingly random times will freeze the OS. The first two times I went away and returned to a frozen computer, the third I tried opening the window running in the background, which caused it to freeze. Nothing but holding the power button down to shut it down and reboot seemed to work.
Amy ideas?
