avast 7.0 pro - how do i do a silent install WITHOUT CHROME ?!

i just bought 70 licenses for 3 years.
i finished my unattended install, and come to find out that avast does a chrome install.

what is the command that will stop chrome from installing ?
we already have and use a PORTABLE version of chrome.

Well, the unmanaged (common) version is not intended for unattended installations. I’m afraid there is no such command.
But I could be wrong. Better is to wait for the developers to post.
The business versions allow to manage the installations unattended.

i thought the PRO was the business version !
that is why i bought it.
you certainly don’t purchase 70 licenses for 3 years for home.

i found this command
/“chrome”=“false”
but it does not seem to work.

avast development ?
if there is no way to install silently without chrome, i will be getting a refund and going back to AVG.
and that saddens me, because i have been using and referring people to avast for years.

Avast Pro and AIS are retail customer programs. For the business options, see http://www.avast.com/business.

so is the business version the only one that will let me install avast silently without chrome ?

Not sure, if this will help you, but I post it anyway, just in case…

I could be wrong, but I dont seem to have CHROME installed( if it is please tell me what file tree its in so I can deal with it). But I didnt install safezone either. maybe thats the ticket?

I love the premise behind ‘SafeZone’; but have more problems with Chrome than FF, and FF is what led me back to the dreaded IE.

SafeZone is a modified Chromium. Google Chrome is also based on Chromium, but isn’t the same thing. SafeZone doesn’t need Google Chrome in order to work.

I recently worked out a solution to this problem, see my response in this thread:
