With avast 7 cloud real-time streaming definitions update (I think this is what I believe is supposed to be happening with 7),
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU PULL THE ETHERNET CABLE OR TURN OFF PC WHILE UPDATES ARE BEING STREAMED?
IS THIS GOING TO POSSIBLY CAUSE AVAST PROGRAM/DEFINITIONS FILES CORRUPTION ON LOCAL/REMOTE PC?
No, it shouldn’t cause any problems.
The updates are streamed in chunks, and each of the chunks is verified independently (using its digital signature). If the signature doesn’t match, it’s not loaded.
