My/some brainstorm taken suggestions:
- Repair broken system functions after malware attack (only IS & Pro)

  • Automatic Autorun disable ability
  • Parental control (only IS)
  • Improve BS with pop-ups
  • GUI similar to Kaspersky 2011 interface (I like K11 more than K12’s UI)
  • Integrated Avast! rescue disc (only IS)
  • Virus cleaner built in (like Avast! 4 had)
  • Advanced Task scheduler
  • Show warning when Self Defense is off
  • “task manager” showing running processess and their trust level (for example: explorer.exe - trust level: ok)

Nesivos’s Suggestions:

  • Make Avast! 7.0 Beta compatible with Windows 8 Beta or better yet the W8 DP
  • Add x128 compatibility
  • Add Android compatibility
  • Develop a Metro style version and add to the Windows Store.

Andrey,Pro’s Suggestions:

  • control for modification of hosts files (i want to add the button agree or disagree for modification hosts)
  • control for modification Windows registry (system items)
  • decrease of memory usage

[Hun]Kranazoli’s Suggestions:

  • Splash screen after logging to Windows (like ESET does - a nice feature)
  • Automatic scan dialog (tray popup window) after plugging an USB drive (built in feautre some other VirusScan products)

Isn’t this already disabled in windows now? (IIRC there was an update that did it?)

I prefer avast's GUI, to Kaspersky...and well they can't just copy. I don't think it will change much.
- Show warning when Self Defense is off
This is one I have been asking for for a while... :(

When Avast! 7 will come out, all paid antivirus products will crash and all will want only avast! :wink: will be the cloud technology in free version, too?

I like these innovations, but would like Avast did not lose its current design quality) I especially like the wonderful pop-up messages (but not like a big white button that you just added to them)

HI I was wondering if I could ask a question recently I read a review on avast 6 during the review the reviewer test avast 6 said that avast 6 does not remove the whole viruses from files that the virus can still be in the file and their fore the virus or malware is not fully removed from the files on the computer. I would just like to now will avast 7 be able to remove more malware and viruses from files better then avast 6 can.

Will avast 7 free beable to detect more strains of viruses on the internet and detect more malware.

I really thing protection should come very first than cleaning (when it’s too late).
Anyway, hope avast 7 has a better cleaning pattern.

about my item 2:I want only control for some Windows’s registry items: winlogon.exe, explorer.exe and some other items,(i think it’ll save our system from banners-informer!)

I don’t normally say things regarding what others want. But seriously this one bothers me.

-Os startup = avast splash screen?

I’d really go nuckin futs every time I see this when I start my machine. Even for a second. I’d want to strangle the moron who added this. Lets not go throwing around stuff like this because it is BAD!
