my chinese is not that gd. but basically its saying an ActiveX wants to be installed, it maybe unsafe, do u want to allow installation?

the problem concerning Youdao dict and .chm files is the same
The warning window is also the same
Just this ActiveX!!!
Even once a time I clicked all the yes in the warning window when opening the youdao dict
next time I opened the youdao.exe
another six warning windows appeared again
The same with .chm files
When I uninstall Avast 7
no warning windows appeared when opening youdao.exe or .chm files
But I do love Avast 7 so much
I don’t want to use other antivirus software whenever possible
Do you know any other ways to make the warning windows disappeareing?

hmm there maybe some underlying problems that i cannot see as i am a user like u
however, u might wanna upload a general support package to Avast! for the developers to look into ur problem
upload it to ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming for Avast! team

What are the avast technicians doing?
Well, unless you tell us what the warning says, no one will be able to help you since not many here understand chinese.
But from what i can see now as it is, the warning is not from avast! but from Windows itself and it has something to do with ActiveX controllers for which the warning was probably issued (because ActiveX often is a potential risk). Other than that i can’t help you unless i know what popup really says.
Didn’t you get this popup even before avast! 7.0 ?I mean since the popup is not from avast!..

I know the ActiveX relates to the IE setting from the internet
but even I reset the IE explorer
the warning still exists
When Avast 7 was uninstalled
the warning disappeared
