hello my friends, few days ago I updated to Avast 7 (7.0.1426) and since that moment it never updating definition virus automatically, I have to do it manually. I did like the window and voice saying about the new update, how come doesn’t do anymore? Is there anything I wrong? when I open the program it says that as default the update is automatically but is not true in my case.
Have you tried an avast repair ? reboot when repair is completed.
yes, I tried, the software doesn’t run, it says " no issued noted" or something like that. Also this new Avast release ( 7) provide the notice window and voice about the virus definition update?
Iv not seen the avast repair ever give that notice before, are you running it correctly via remove programs? double click avast as to uninstall then click on repair,ok and reboot, if that doesn’t work then i suggest a clean install.
Uninstall avast normally then reboot into safe mode and run the removal tool, boot back to normal mode and reinstall avast.
