i updated over avast interface and work fine,but i have problem everytime i restart pc i got message click here to finish,why,please answer thanks!

yes,after 10 time, restart problem is solved, I do not know how!

Edit: After my window was like gkaekjgiewiajgoiwejgewjgfi’s screen, with google chrome install option, I restart once again and it stopped.
might be it’s a bug with windows Xp cuz on my win 7 it works fine 8)
Unfortunately, it is not obvious for everyone, and the installer doesn’t ask to reboot when using a new clean install.
For me it did (AIS).
In a clean install or in program update?
To be clear, when I say “program update”, it doesn’t really matter if you run the installer or you used the built-in program update. The point is, when new CLEAN install, it seems not to ask for reboot (at least, under some conditions). I’m still testing situations though.

after my third attempt to restart, the problem was gone. i got a popup like gkaekjgiewiajgoiwejgewjgfi’s, and after that avast went fine.
(i didnt pay attention to chrome install box, i installed chrome by ‘accident’)
Okay, I did a clean install, It didn’t ask for a reboot. I rebooted anyway, but the splash screen didn’t seem to appear at all. Is that normal?
By the way, I couldn’t register a new license. It keeps hanging after I fill the form and click the big green button. I had to submit a form on the site. Still waiting for the e-mail.
that’s wrong, a clean install of AIS always prompts to reboot, always, and it’s been like that since Avast 5 (and no reboot required after a “free” version install).
edit: upgrading AIS doesn’t always require a reboot, depending on what was upgraded.
AIS? I installed the free version. So does that mean I’m all set? The license key just arrived by the way. Everything seems to be working now.
