Avast 8.0.1.1603 reverting back to old license file and showing expired alert

Hi,

A couple of colleagues running who are running Avast 8.0.1.1603 keep getting alerts that “Your subscription for avast! Endpoint Protection has expired. As a result the program will not download any further updates.” When I check the license, it shows the old license which expired on 14/06/14. I update to the current license file ( which expires around 14/06/15), this works fine for a couple of days then it reverts back to the old license date.

Any suggestions?

Contact your reseller or avast!(if you bought the product directly from them) and ask them to remove the old product from your license. I believe that if you open the license.avastlic file with notepad you should see two products with two different expiration dates.
