Avast 8 free not compatible with Sandboxie 3.76

Hi

I cant use Avast with Sandboxie , i can not get out on the net or even find my homepage with Sandboxie activated .
Without Sandboxie and only Avast running there is no problem .

It only happens with Avast , with other AV`s running there is no problem at all .

I know that others have this combo without issues so this is really a mystery .

Any suggestions ?

I have w7-64bit with 64bit protection activated in Sandboxie .

I really want to use Avast so solving this problem is very much wanted !

Hi, is the avast auto sandbox active? Maybe try turning it off.Hope that helps

I`ve also been thinking about that , shall try it out later , for now i am going to wait for more suggestions .

I see you have Sandboxie , i suppose you have Avast too , yes ?.. no problems at all ?

Hi, yes I do except on win xp 32bit.No problems with that setup. That being said I still have the avast auto sandbox disabled.The reason for this is to reduce a chance of conflicts between the 2 programs.Hope that helps :slight_smile:

The somewhat mysterious thing is that i tried Avast a week ago and it worked fine , a little bit of delay in getting connection to the net when booting but otherwise okej .
A yellow triangel in the signal icon down to the right for c:a 10 sec that had never been there before indicating a/the problem/delay .

Then out of different reasons i uninstalled Avast and now a week later when i try it out it does not work at all , though nothing has changed .
And i assume that Avast comes with the same default settings in both cases .

I had similar problems before , c:a 8 months ago when i was trying out Avast .
